Chunky Guacamole

This is the Chunky Guacamole that I use in my recipe for Provolone Quinoa Wrap.

I love the constrasting flavors in this recipe - cool, creamy avocados paired with crisp, spicy hot peppers.

For the most part I am a guacamole purist. Simply put, I like to keep it simple.  


  • 2 Ripe Avocados, Pitted and Peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice 
  • 2 Ripe Plum Tomatoes, Diced
  • 1/3 cup Red Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1-2 Hot Peppers (Anaheim or Jalapeno), Finely Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, Washed and Chopped
  • Hot sauce (optional, add only after tasting if you need additional heat)
  • Salt and/or Pepper to Taste


  1. Mash the avocados with a fork until chunky. 
  2. Stir in the lime juice, tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, and hot sauce, if using. Season to taste with salt and ground pepper.
  3. Allow to refrigerate, covered with pit. Serve and enjoy!
