It's that time of year again! We're setting intentions, writing down our goals and looking ahead to a new year and a fresh start. Many of us will choose to set intentions and goals around our weight, exercise and self-care, such as meditation practice. As our list of goals grows, we can feel overwhelmed by the need to DO MORE in order to achieve our goals.

So many of our goals are related to our QUALITY of life. QUALITY as defined by Merriam Webster is "theย degree of excellence."

For me, I am refining my goals down to what counts and is most important and effective for me. I LOVE to make lists of things, activities, goals and intentions. Sound familiar?...Sometimes I find myself feeling GUILTY that I haven't checked everything off of my list - when the whole point of my list was to feel GOOD! I figure if I set out AND achieve 1 goal EACH day consistently, I will feel better. My motto for this year: "Slow and Steady wins the race."

What is 1 thing that we can do to increase the QUALITY of our lives each day? I am committing to meditating EVERY day. What about YOU?
